Dan & Luke McMillin SLATED for Duty at MDR Superstition 250

San Diego, California (October 13, 2009) Dan and Luke McMillin will return to the barren desert for the upcoming MDR SUPERSTITION 250 to be held October 17, 2009 in Plaster City. The two brothers are scheduled to blast off the start line of the 250-mile desert race at 8:00 a.m.

Dan McMillin will race the McMillin Homes sponsored JIMCO Class 1,while younger brother, Luke, will race his 1-2 1600 car. Dan commented, “I’m stoked to be back in the Mastercraft 3G seat of our JIMCO Class 1 car for this race. Of course, I love racing at Plaster City. There is always great racing at the Superstition Championship Series and I’m sure we’ll be right there in the end.”

Luke McMillin takes to the desert in his 1-2 1600 car for the first time since racing at the 1000-mile Best In the Desert Vegas to Reno 3-day event in August. “I’m glad to get back into the race car and Plaster City is one place I’m very familiar with. We have plans to push hard and see what happens this weekend. We’ve had some great runs at Plaster City in the past,” said the smiling Luke McMillin.

America’s legendary off road racing family will return to Mexico’s off road racing scene and race this year’s SCORE Baja 1000 in Baja California. This race will cover over 1000-kilometers throughout the northern Baja desert as an international contingent of desert racers descend upon the race. Mark McMillin will race his #23 2009 Geiser-built trophy truck while Andy/Scott McMillin will race the #31 McMillin Realty backed trophy truck.
